With a decade of experience in television, I have worked as an editor and researcher on various shows, documentaries and series for the NPO (Dutch Public Broadcasting). In more recent years, as a director. Everything now comes together in my work as a freelance videographer, where I capture the stories I care about in a personal way.

I’m drawn to projects with a social purpose. Mostly for NGOs, humanitarian and cultural organisations, I produce video projects from start to finish. From concept and filming to the final edit. As personally and authentically as possible, I capture human stories that need to be told and open up new perspectives, hoping to bring people closer together. Far from numbers, close to people.

That same focus on people and their stories shapes my work as a photographer. I aim to capture people in a way that feels personal and true to who they are.
